2023 HUNTER SAFETY CLASS

Please arrive early as late arrivals may be turned away. Students must attend both class dates and times, must be at least 11 years old by April 20, 2023 and must pass a 52-question test at the end of the last day to receive certification. Hunter Education Certification will be presented immediately after successfully passing on Saturday. This class is FREE to Johnson County Farm Bureau members only. Snacks and drinks are allowed in the classroom.
We will include a working lunch on Saturday as to meet the minimum 10-hour class requirements for certification.
Students will need to either bring a sack/box lunch or you can drop off lunch for them. Lunch Saturday is 12 noon sharp, and students must remain in the class.
Parents can drop off a lunch but do so just before noon.
Breaks will be every hour on the hour.
Participants are required to attend both class dates and times.
Parents do not need to stay with their child, but must arrive 20 minutes prior to the conclusion of class.
Covid Update: Instructors will abide by County regulations but will not wear a mask while speaking but will wear a mask when approached or approaching students if it’s required. Instructors are all vaccinated. It’s strongly advised if students are feeling sick and or with fever, please refrain from attending the class.
All students and persons entering this class agree to hold the instructors harmless.
